Easy to order, horse likes it

I needed some more Magnesium Oxide and Probiotics. Their website was super easy to navigate, which was great. Placed the order, it showed up a few days later, no fuss. My gelding eats it up with his feed, so no issues there. It was a good experience overall, would definitely order again when I need more stuff.

Great value on bundle deal

I was looking for some new joint supplements and saw they had a good deal on a bundle with Glucosamine, Chondroitin, and Hyaluronic Acid. It was a first-time purchase for me, so I appreciated the savings over buying each separately. The overall cost felt very reasonable for the quality. I felt like I got good value for my money and the shipping was free, which was a nice bonus.

Comprehensive review of my recent order

I placed an order for the Visceral and a bag of Flaxseed Oil. The ordering process on their site was smooth and intuitive; I found what I needed without any trouble. Shipping was prompt; it arrived about five business days after I placed the order, which was within their estimated window. Both products were well-packaged, and there were no leaks or damage. My horse has been on the Visceral for a couple of weeks now, and I've observed a noticeable improvement in his gut comfort. The Flaxseed Oil is fresh, and he eats it without hesitation. I did have a question about the feeding instructions for the Visceral, so I used their online chat feature, and the customer service representative was knowledgeable and helpful. I'm satisfied with the quality of the supplements and the overall purchasing experience.

Decent supplements, minor shipping snag

I got the AminoTrace and W-3 Oil for my mare. The products themselves seem high quality, and I did notice a slight improvement in her coat after a few weeks. Shipping was mostly fine, but the box arrived a bit dented, though the contents were undamaged. The prices are competitive for what you get, but I wish there were more frequent sales on individual items.

quick question: can you stack coupon codes at Mad Barn? Got a referral one but also saw something about free shipping on orders over 100 bucks.

P Phil V. 2 months ago
From what I remember, you can only use one promo code at checkout. The free shipping over 100 usually kicks in automatically though, so that's not a code you have to 'use'.

Pretty sure they only allow one code. But the free shipping isn't a code, it just applies. So you can use your referral code and still get free shipping if your order hits the minimum.

Anyone tried comparing Mad Barn's joint supplements with, say, SmartPak's? Wondering which is more bang for the buck for a senior horse.

D Daisy Kaur 2 months ago
I switched from SmartPak to Mad Barn's joint stuff for my old guy. Honestly, I think the Mad Barn has a better ingredient profile for the price. My horse seems just as comfortable, if not more so.

It's hard to compare directly sometimes cause the formulas are a bit different. I'd check the active ingredients and dosages on both. Mad Barn usually has pretty good concentrations though.

I'm looking at their W-3 oil but not sure my horse will like it. What's their return policy like if he refuses to eat it? Can I send back an opened bucket?

B Beth Patel 2 months ago
Ugh, I had that happen with another brand once! For Mad Barn, I don't think you can return opened supplements. I remember checking that once. Best to try a small size first if you're worried.

Nah, pretty sure once it's open, it's yours. Most supplement companies are like that for safety reasons. Maybe see if you can get a sample size or just buy the smallest container to try.

Just found out about Mad Barn, seems pretty good. Are there any easy ways to get a discount? Like first time buyer codes or something?

C Cody 2 months ago
Definitely look for referral codes! Lots of people have them, usually 10% off. Also, if you sign up for their newsletter, sometimes they send one for new customers.

I think they have first order discounts sometimes, worth checking. Also, setting up a subscription gets you a discount automatically, if you're gonna reorder.

Hey guys, thinking about grabbing some Omneity for my mare. Does anyone know if they ship to like, Texas? And how long does that usually take?

P Phil C. 2 months ago
Yeah, they definitely ship to the US. I'm in Arizona and got my last order in about a week and a half, maybe two weeks max. So Texas should be fine.

They do ship to the US! I think it was like 7-10 business days for me in Florida, so it'll probably be similar for Texas. Customs can sometimes add a day or two though.
